History of Mobile Phones

A mobile phone is a moveable telephone that can make and receive calls over a radio frequency carrier while the user is moving within a telephone service area.The first mobile phone was launched by John F. Mitchell and Martin Cooper of Motorola in 1973, using a handset weighing c. 4.4 lbs (2 kg).
                                                            

Dr Martin Cooper, a Motorola researcher and executive made the first phone call from a handheld mobile phone on April 3, 1973.

These first-generation (1G) systems could support far more simultaneous calls, but still used analog technology.In 1991, the second-generation (2G) digital cellular technology was launched in Finland by Radiolinja on the GSM standard.In 2001, the third generation (3G) was launched in Japan by NTT DoCoMo on the WCDMA standard.The fourth generation (4G) is the wireless mobile telecommunications technology, succeeding 3G.Using a 4G smartphone on Verizon’s 4G LTE network means you can download files from the Internet up to 10 times faster than with 3G. LTE stands for Long Term Evolution. It’s a term used for the particular type of 4G that delivers the fastest mobile Internet experience. You’ll usually see it called 4G LTE.The fifth generation network  ( 5G) denotes the proposed next major phase of mobile telecommunications standards beyond the current 4G/IMT-Advanced standards. 5G planning includes Internet connection speeds faster than current 4G.

The mobile phone has been one of the fastest growing technologies and necessities in the world.first model.Now this technology is not only a product that sixty percent of the world owns, but it is something you never leave your house without.All mobile phones have a different  features depanding on manufacturers, by adding functions to attract consumers. The top manufacturers were Samsung, Nokia, Apple Inc., LG , Huawei, TCL Communication, Xiaomi, Lenovo, ZTE and Micromax,Sony,Panasonic,BlackBerry,HTC.Smartphones have a number of distinguishing features.The common uses of mobile phones are making or receiving calls,sending or reading sms and mail,surfing internet,checking time,setting an  alarm clock,using calculator,checking facebook,etc.
A mobile app is a software application (app) designed to run on mobile devices such assmartphones.Most such devices are sold with several apps bundled as pre-installed software, such as aweb browser, email client, calendar, mapping program, and an app for buying music or other media or more apps. Some pre-installed apps can be removed by an ordinary uninstall process, thus leaving more storage space for desired ones.Apps are usually available through distribution platforms called app stores such as  AppleApp Store, Google Play, Windows Phone Store, and BlackBerry App World.
Future mobile phones will be ultimate and  multifunctional gadgets and are expected to be more closely embedded in our day-to-day lives than ever before.
